"That'd be nice." She spoke with a soft sigh, rubbing between her neck and shoulder. After a long day of smashing robots, laying down on a soft mattress sounded pleasant. But...It was a bit of an odd question coming from the other hedgehog. Ember lowered to hand and looked at Silver, raising an eyebrow.

"Why do you ask? Did you want to share a bed with me?" She asked in a teasing tone.

Of course they'd pick today of all days to work on the pipes in the wing her room was in at the Restoration. Normally, Ember would've just waited to take a shower til they were done with work, but she could feel grease from smashed robots clumping her quills. She couldn't stand it. And so, she gathered her shower essentials and marched herself over to the communal showers.

At first Ember flinched from the hot water hitting her bare back, a hiss escaping between clenched teeth before she began to relax and lean into the steady water fall. All her stresses seemed to be washed away down the drain. Least for a moment.

She had begun to reach for her shampoo but frozen when the creaking of the locker room door alerted her someone had just entered. The only thing separating them was the shower curtainーwhich had Ember questioning just how visible she was behind it.

She blinked in surprise, ears perking up at the comment. Her face burned as she looked over at bat, whom she found attractive as well. In fact, Ember had a hard time refraining from examining Rouge's figure. Still, her eyes did a quick once over before her lids slid down half way to a sultry stare.

" 'Love' is such a strong word." The hedgehog smirked, "But I can't deny I feel the same about yours."
