Needless to say, Gigi arrival into Midgar had been an interesting one to say the least. She had called ahead to her boyfriend, Zack, before she came after he left his lunch behind. While it was slight protest, he didn’t see no harm to her coming.

As long as she didn’t coming in the city on a magic carpet. Too much attention.

Making sure, she followed the map carefully. Definitely to avoid heading towards the slums and sector 5 where his ex resided. The sun genie shuddered as she didn’t want a repeat over the Valentine’s day dinner.

She then stopped until she finally came across the headquarter’s building.

The sound of soft footsteps made their way through the house, treading lightly as to not wake a certain sleepy chocobo up. Kumon had just returned home after fleeing the hell that was the deepground labs. It was only Cloud home today, and everyone else in the house knew that Kumon was finally home. He had arrived drenched in the pouring rain the night before, wailing for his mommy who had promptly brought him in. 

Cloud had already gone to sleep at that point, so Kumon wasn’t going to wake him then. However, he was still asleep after Kumon woke up. So it was finally time to go wake up daddy.

He enters the bedroom his parents share, his father fast asleep on the bed. Giving puppy-like whimpers, Kumon manages to climb onto the bed and flop on daddy’s chest with another whine, starting to poke his nose to try and wake him.

“Daddy? Daddy? I’m home daddy!”

After a few attempts of trying to wake him one way, he immediately switches to a more instinctual way that some animals do to get another’s attention. He gently takes the ear that’s closest to him in his mouth and starts tugging on it gently.

“Daddeh! Wake up!”

He whines as he continues to gently tug on his ear. Why was it so hard for daddy to wake up? Usually he was a really light sleeper...

Winter gave a gasp, jumping a bit in surprise before giving a giggle. “Of course I did~” She cooed happily
