Red or blue
My heart seems to jump
Avoiding choosing, in agony of past mistakes
Purple seemed always better
A bit of red and blue to soothe the heart's scrapes
But when would I realise red or blue
Either brings happiness to door
If she just chooses away.
Ball of yarn to my heart - swings, rolls, drops
My heart speaks in formless rainbows, indecipherable blobs of paint splashing against my soul of
Unsewn dreams and empty canvas
I demand clarity from kaleidoscopic chaos
I hold faith in stitches that came before
I rein in the thread as the Fates sew my destiny
And I realise then that faith is in my hands as Fate would allow
My colours are still a mess - a red, a blue, a green, a wonder
I'll see the colours set sail then, like I'm a ship sailing across the wondrous seas
At peace, at dreams, at love, at green
Let the flowers bloom, say I
Let them be vibrant, let every little choice be made knowing that flowers will accompany, and I'd be blessed with every turn of my ship
