Name/Nickname: Papyrus / Hen of the Wood (after his mushrooms)

Age: 74-ish

Height: 8'6

Pronoun(s): He/Him They/Them

Physical description: Hen towers over most monsters and rarely stands at his full height, hunching over to try to appear less scary when tending to the needs of hungry, scared monsters. He will put on his ‘scary’ face when standing his ground to discourage a fight. His teeth are chipped and his worn clothes carefully repaired.

Personality: Stubbornly optimistic, Perceptive and Generous to a fault. He refuses to eat ‘meat’, and tries his best to protect and smuggle humans to safety.

Name/Nickname: Sans / Velvet Shank (after the mushies that grow on him)

Age: 30+ something?, quickly stopped keeping track

Height: 6'2

Physical description: A big boned skeletal monster with a large hole in his head and cracks down his right and left socket. Mushrooms of his namesake grow in his skull and along the cracks. He wears a fuzzy scarf he knitted and an old fur lined coat.

Personality: grouchy, too tired for self care, hungry, very protective of those of in his ‘house’, touch starved due to avoidance of physical contact in fear of spreading spores. Has a general distrust of Undyne. Soul trait: Monster Soul

Relationships: not-so little bro Hen of the Wood, local food provider Grillby. Those of his house, but he doesn’t share details of who for safety.

Tiny fun facts: Has a fear of spoiled or rotten food. Will resist touch but just melts to gentle contact, may growl and grumble. Sharing meals means you became a part of his ‘house’ to be protected and fed.
