I recently ran into someone and told him I do a lot of mushroom-hunting. He'd apparently never heard of this and asked if I meant some creature called a mushroom or "the little plants off the ground". So I drew a quick sketch of little furry beast inspired by morels (the mushrooms that are out right now) and rabbits (which I might be hunting at a different time).

1.Do you have any nicknames?

My friends called me Jenaflower for a while (hence my blog title) and my family call me madmary because they are crazy

2.What did you want to be when you were younger?

I wanted to be an ice-cream lady as there were only dude ice-cream people. I was all for feminist rights even at 5 

3.Most exciting thing thing that has happened to you this year?

Seeing Florence + the Machine live probably. It was lashing rain, everyone was covered in mud and it was just epic

4.The number one place you want to travel to most?

Does Earth count as on place? I want to travel EVERYWHERE. If I had to choose I'd say New York, India, Alaska and Mexico

5.What would you do if you won the lotto?

Buy my mam her dream house, get my dad his mini cooper, get my sister all the hair bands she wants (she has an obsession), make sure the rest of my family were comfortable. Then I would look after me. I would get my Volkswagen camper van and Vespa and then I'd travel. Mostly I'd live life to the fullest

I would go to Live Aid in 1985 and watch Queen perform

Not fluently but I can speak Irish and bits of French
