Thank Gnome it's Friday!!

WITH Funguary continuing, and today's prompt being Wrinkled Peach Mushrooms (look at them they're so cute omg!!).

Apparently they lose their wrinkles as they get older, so though it's uncommon, we have a "Tock the Gnome" Mycellioom having manifested in child form, pushing through the energetic-emotional wall of Arella's curse to reach out to a young Gnome, and try to share with them some of what's been lost - about the world's wonder, about the world's magic!

(This is, thusly, semi-canon 🤞🤫)

I loved doing this last year at the one @feefal hosted, and since I hadn’t seen one, I’ve made my own lil’ ditty.

I feel like this year, I need something to keep me focused. In particular, I think it’s never been more important to be focused. So I invite you to join me in this event!

Blessed beginning of Spring-return, dear followers, and fellow magical folk 💗 Day of Brigid - day of hope within the ground and the sunlight shining upon us all. Breathe, and act!! *

AND, happy Funguary the first!! As those of you who follow my comic (and worldbuilding for said comic) @tockthegnome already know, there are now mushroomfolk in the realm - Mycelliooms - and as such I will be devoting most of this month's posting to their development. I won't be able to post every day, but I have some prompts bookmarked from the official list by @feefal and will give weekly World Building Wednesday and "Thank Gnome it's Friday" to them, as well. The only exceptions to this are: this is also the month of @ockissweek !! Which I plan on participating in again, so that week will be given to that challenge, with Mycelliooms included where they fit. AND I have a commission deadline this month which is not related, so getting that together will be a bit of a break from the shrooms, too.

That said, I am so excited, and hope you look forward to what comes up!

"Tock the Gnome" world building notes that have come from this:

Elementals can manifest in all shapes and sizes, which probably has no bearing on their power level, as they are always connected to the primal force of their element (more thought on that needed).

Mycelliooms, when manifesting physically, are not immune to the elements of the world BUT they have some greater resistances to them, since their nature is so very, very spiritual (Faerie magic! I don't make the rules. I just process them).
