Mustazzi is the dialectal Italian expression used in the Southern part of the country for moustache. The story of Alessandro is strictly related to his moustache and beard, because they literally changed his life in the last couple of years. Alessandro who always liked to live in the country side of Emilia Romagna district, had recently bought an old farmhouse in the outskirts of Modena and with all his passion refurbished it to make it his new home.

Just a couple of months after he moved into his new location a terrible earthquake hit Emilia Romagna district devastating all the area, causing several deaths and huge damages to all industrial and residential infrastructures. After this terrible and mournful event Alessandro, like many other people living in the same area, lost his new built house and became homeless. Can you imagine how severe could be the ripercussions of such a dramatic event? Alessandro faced deep depression, but he promptly reacted trying to find a way to escape this black nightmare; and he did it the Italian way with passion and creativity trying to reinvent himself: he grew moustache and beard.

Even though apparently this was just an instinctive response to all the bad things happened, it turned into a positively drastic change in Alessandro’s life. After a while his new stunning look shared on his Instagram and Facebook accounts caught the attention of many bloggers, brands and internet users which discovered Alessandro; for instance he has been chosen to be part of #Project60 a Mr. Elbank global noprofit movement collecting the world most beautiful beards to fight against melanoma. Alesssandro who is actually a graphic designer and a sculptor, has rapidly become a web style icon and consequentially is constantly involved in advertising campaings, photoshootings because of his new stunning look. Finally Alessandro is planning to release soon a new and exciting project called Mustazzi, so stay tuned for future developments.
