“Hey! Daddys sorry he’s been gone so long sweetie” He replied upon picking her up and rubbing her back as he laid her back on her little bed.

Leila stared up at daddy, eyes wide and curious.

“Daddy? Do you love mommy?”

“Leila?” Samarah knelt down next to her daughter, who had been unusually quiet and still ever since she was picked up from school “what’s wrong, sweetie?”

Leila sat, trying not to cry, as she looked up at her mommy.

“Do....do I talk funny?” she asked, sniffing “k-kids at school say I talk funny...”

“Oh, sweetie, come here,” Samarah gathered her daughter into her arms, holding her close “you may not talk like others, but there’s nothing wrong with that, okay? You’ve heard the way your daddy talks, you actually sound a lot like him. Has this been going on for a while? Are they teasing you?”

Leila nodded, hugging her mommy tight.

“Do you want me to talk to your teacher?”

The little girl shook her head, making a distressed noise.

“Okay, okay, I won’t. It’ll be okay, sweetie.”

[TEXT: My dearest Red Lion Yaqut] I know it’s illogical for a grown adult to get mad at a group of six year old kids, but it appears our daughter is being bullied at school for the way she talks.

Hakuyuu looked to the smaller princess as a smile is seen. How she remind him of his little brother Hakuryuu, perhaps it’s a weakness of his that he’s so soft around children; their innocence and sweetness. It’s hard to show the known severe and serious nature around such bright eyes.

“Do you think so, little princess?”

 The little girl hadn’t noticed anyone approaching her, she was just satisfied with the fort she had created all by herself! Judal-chan would have been proud, maybe even her momma! She wished she could show it to her but she wouldn’t come out of her room. Suddenly she heard someone.

 “Kya! U-Um I think so yes, u-um.” She hid inside her fort.
