Lonesome George has returned to the Charles Darwin Research Station after some time at the American Museum of Natural History (to be taxidermied), and the building they constructed for him brilliantly places him in his natural habitat, surrounded by other senior tortoises, but also the youngest generations. It is surrounded by cactus habitat, and also includes an exhibit containing a land iguana, seen here devouring fallen muyuyo blossoms.
