@mvrderbot || ISOLA STARTER CALL!
He's seen this sort of thing before. Despite the dazzling lights and the sheer height of the rainbow loop, it’s obvious that this is more or less the same as the little outdoor ice skating rink by the river back in Detroit. Watching a few human families make use of the rink and attempting to make use of one himself are two very different things, though, and for once Blurr’s struggling to make a full circuit around a track. He didn’t think to look for any skates that might fit his build, and he just can’t seem to find enough traction to really get going no matter how he churns his wheels against the faux-ice.
...having to contend with the reality of his newly stripped away speed certainly isn’t helping, either; he felt slow and clumsy even before stepping onto the rink, and now that he’s on it it’s all he can do to keep from skidding face-first across the cheerily-lit floor.
He’s managed to stay upright so far, but his luck seems about to change when an awkward lean sends him into the path of another skater-- human, by the look of it, fairly tall and sturdy-looking, but still likely to be injured by a falling Cybertronian.
“Lookoutlookoutlookout!”
Blurr makes a valiant attempt at falling in the other direction, but he’s a few seconds too late to avoid the collision.
The rink really is beautiful when one’s sprawled out against its rainbow light. Squinting against the glow, Blurr scrambles to sit up and aim his narrowed optics at the person into whom he’s just crashed.
He tries not to sound too annoyed when he asks, somewhat demandingly, “are you alright??”
