Thursday Murder Club, Book Two; The Man Who Died Twice
I love love love this book so far. I read the first book quite some time ago, and then read some other things and I am finally getting back to this series. I’ve only just finished chapter 8, but I have missed this group of characters so dreadfully much. I knew by the end of the first page that I had missed them. It’s wonderful going on adventures with them again- aside from the fact that I’m already weeping.
IBRAHIM. “No one gets away with hurting Ibrahim.”
I love so many of these characters, but it is perhaps Ibrahim that I relate to the most. And so chapters 6, 7, & 8 have really done a number on me. In a wonderfully painful sort of way that has me in my feelings.
And then JOYCE with “that’s my Ibrahim.” GUH. GUHHHHH. 🥹💯😭🥺🥹
And RON standing as far away as possible while still being in the room??? With tears in his eyes!!! And SLEEPING THERE ON A COT?!?!?
And Elizabeth determined one way or another to get justice for Ibrahim.
Ibrahim who just wanted to talk about what he had learned about paying for parking through an application on his phone.
