The angel, restored, had done some thinking.
He was away from the winchesters, currently in a very nice open park. He wasn’t in the one he liked in Heaven, the park an old autistic man accompanied, flying a kite, but this park was still very pleasant. Heavenly in it’s own sense.
Meg crossed his mind several times. Curious of what life has become. Curious of the choices that have been made. Like the choice of leaving her behind. She was killed, and he wasn’t able to do anything. Sam and Dean didn’t do anything, nor did they ever return to at least give her a proper burial. Upon thinking on this, he had decided, that he would search for her body. It would be in a morgue probably…
And once he found her body, he would want to bury her. Castiel wanted to decorate it nicely, and honor his fallen friend. Sam and Dean would join of course. He’d force them too, if they tried to refuse. But before he would inform them on his plans, he needed to find her, alone. Sam and Dean would hold him back. So this began his lonely search. And for days he was unsuccessful. He even managed to tire himself out from how much flying he was doing, searching the whole country. He wished this had been easier, he didn’t know why it was so hard. Tracking a live person was difficult, since they were able to move around, and cover their tracks. But she was dead, meaning she was just in one specific place. It should be easier to find someone dead than alive. Perhaps he was searching in the wrong areas…
The next place he was checking, Cas thought would be another drop in and miss. This Hospital, while it was significant, as were all buildings on this world, it wasn’t out of what would be considered the ordinary. He would walk in, and check the morgue. And he’d walk out and…
Oh.
Well… This- This wasn’t expected. Castiel’s blue eyes were wide, he had walked right into a room which he thought would be empty. But someone was in here. His face grew stern, his eyebrows furrowing and a very very confused look present on his face. He breathed the name in astonishment, “Meg?”
