UM Review: RadioDriveBy -MMXIII

RadioDriveBy - MMXIII Record Label: Self-Released Release Date: April 8th, 2013 Reviewed by: Amandah Opoku

Tied Up opens up MMXIII and the only word that I can come up to describe this song is versatile. It's very evident from the first note played and the first note sang that RadioDriveBy is heading into another direction. I'm not complaining. Tied Up sets the stage for the uniqueness we'll encounter throughout this EP. My favourite part of this song is the bridge, where we see dimensions come together. Trent's vocal ability is showcased throughout this song, and the range is just incredible. Hold On To Me begins with a piano solo which will probably catch you in between. The harmonies and the chorus on this song...there are no words for me to describe it. The arrangement of this song is perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. One You Want will surely take you for a ride, and a mini-dance party! 

Rating: 5/5 It seems like, with everything they release RadioDriveBy keep’s trying to outdo themselves. The lyrics, the instruments, the harmony and Trent’s vocal versatility…nothing feels out of place. The honesty of the lyrics, and the simplicity of the words allow anyone and everyone to connect to the songs...while dancing throughout this EP of course.
