“So. Truth or Dare.”
Paranormal Reality

It was your typical night on a typical winter with snow, and ice and it was just downright cold. The place seemed completely abandoned; an old hospital once used to house people who suffered from extreme mental illness. There were tons of these places all over the U.S. but some stood out way more than others. That’s about the only reason she was here tonight. Thing is - she had permission. It’s called respect for the people who owned the property. Bomber jacket, relaxed pants, t-shirt with some stupid quote on it like ‘Sarcasm is a natural defense against stupid’, geared up with EMF meters, recorders, cameras - basic paranormal hunting goodness. Strapped to her hip was a recording device, and on her head a headset with a microphone, and a headlamp with another camera attached - just in case. Temperance was quiet as she made her way through the place. She wasn’t scared, or really worried, and she had plenty of things on her - including a gun hidden in her coat - to help defend against the unwelcome rather than the unknown. What she didn’t anticipate was something, or someone showing up. So when she heard steps, and she went to check them out trying to make sure someone else hadn’t snuck onto the property and was messing with her -- she was quite surprised to find a rather... unhappy looking man standing in the hall in front of her. “Hey. This is private property. Do you have permission to be here?” Her watered down British accent came through well enough to suggest she had English parents, but was likely born in the states.
Headcanon: A Mother's Hope
Although AnnaBelle never had the chance to meet the hybrid’s first human connection (aka Sammy), she had high hopes for Rora’s future. The mother was certain that him and her daughter would meet again. AnnaBelle saw how happy her memories of him made her (Rora talked about him often when they first started their journey) and she wanted so desperately for the two to cross paths again. And, if she had ever had the chance to meet him, the mother knew she would’ve loved that boy like a son.
Headcanon: Childhood Dreams
Being that Aurora was named after Sleeping Beauty, she spent a lot of time reading fairy tales. They were a nice escape from her daily life of abuse. And, no matter how many times the nest said she'd be alone forever, the child still hoped. She always dreamed that her Prince Phillip would come and take her away from that horrible place. The little girl would get lost in books, escaping into a world where even cursed girls could find love. And, when she met Sam as a young girl, she thought, maybe, he was her prince. Even when they went their separate ways, in the back of her mind, she thought he was her Prince Phillip. It was just silly, childish dreaming, she knew that, but who could blame the cursed girl for holding on to that little sliver of hope?
Finally Home || Sam & Aurora
Aurora was in the kitchen, making Cajun Gumbo, a recipe her adoptive mother had taught her a long time ago. It was one of her favorite meals and it reminded her of the all the fun times she had before AnnaBelle died. The hybrid also made it when she tended to worry and needed to distract herself, since there were a lot of preparations she had to do in order to make the dish.
She was too focused on the food to hear the door open or even the footsteps that approached the kitchen. Her back was turned to the kitchen entrance and she had some music going, dancing a bit as she continued to season the pot on the stove. The woman even sang along to the song playing as she stirred the pot.
