i don't really think either of them are healthy for each other id im being honest (irretrievabledelicacy and mxrtifer). i think they should both move on and find someone else.
I think they just need to look at the situation maturely and admit to what they did wrong about the whole thing, really.

It was obvious she got in a fight again. He didn't care if that was one of her jobs again or something else, there was still a dark bruise under her eye. It probably hurt her and Dustin wanted to ease it somehow for her. Giving a light kiss to the injury probably wasn't the wisest thing to do, but he wasn't the wisest man either. "Sorry... you got hurt like that." He mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck.
