Melina had just entered the penthouse, running into what resembled much of a sex dungeon. Okay, so things weren’t going that well with Chloe, fine; she hadn’t expected her father to respond any different to this form of rejection. However, what she hadn’t expected was crossing that mutated piece of rib. Melina had never liked Eve, her voice only made her want to throw up and now the woman was talking to her non-stop.

“Oh.. Alright, it’s gonna be like this then.” He rolls his eyes at the clearly insane woman who thinks that she’s him.  “Prove it then.”

“It just came to me.”

He dryly observed, not quite able to hide the amused look in his deep brown eyes.

“I was thinking that we could team up in this case. You can help me track down the demon, after which I’ll send it back to Hell.”

He told her calmly, as if this was the most normal thing in the world. Which it kind of was, in his case.

Lucifer was not what she expected to find. The source had no wit or banter about him, yet the literal King of Hell was the complete opposite. The book of shadows only detailed him as a fallen angel, that was neither good nor evil--just the overseer of souls in hell. So much for magic being hidden behind good ol’ folk lore. Just because there was no evidence he was evil, didn’t mean that she was going to take him by his word, either.

“Look the last thing I want is a demon roaming around with some personal vendetta without a target. So, of course, I’ll team up with you. But my terms are we’re a team. I don’t sit on the sidelines. And I’m not convinced you’re not going to try to vanquish us.” Prue knew he was powerful. Probably more powerful than her and her sisters were, but if he was trying to maintain the balance she would support it. She just wanted to make sure he wasn’t underestimating her. “So, I ask no surprises.”

“Not really, but I’ve seen it before,” Lily chuckled and glanced over at Leander. “I suppose I shouldn’t have started you with Wizard of Oz, anyhow. Completely ridiculous portrayals of witches,” she tutted. “We can switch to something that doesn’t have flying monkeys, if you’d like.”

For fucks, he didn’t know if Sirius was joking – but he looked serious about this and decided to go with the question. Once Remus said yes, he noticed how Sirius was lighting up and it caused his cheeks to color. “Really, I’m – I’m glad you asked me… Not sure if I ever had the guts to ask you…” Remus got up and walked closer, with each step his heart beating harder and harder. “I’m so happy you asked.” The werewolf was glowing himself.

“Ever? How long have you fancied me then?”

He had to ask, just to tease him a little. But also out of curiosity. He could feel his heart beat pick up when Remus approached. Tempted as he was to throw himself at him, the last thing he wanted to do was scare him away. So in an attempt to control himself he reached out a hand to gently grab hold of his instead.

Hearing the words, her cheeks turned red, which she tried to hide by turning her head. He certainly had a way with words, but she wondered if he actually meant them.

Steve sighed as she put herself between him and his doorway, his only way to escape, looking at a spot over her shoulder for a second. She had a point, the last thing he wanted to do was make the rest of 5-0 sick, but there were so many criminals on the island that had to be dealt with. He wouldn’t be able to deal with himself if he lost his vigilance.

“... you’re right. Someone’s got to catch the bad guys, if I can’t be there to do it.”

He sat back down onto the bed, and groaned a little as his body already began to ache all over. Honestly, he hoped that he’d be able to get over this illness quickly, putting faith in it because he took care of himself, worked out, and ate well. The last thing he wanted was to be stuck in bed for a week.

Her hand gently clasps upon his shoulder. “You harboring some secret talents that even I don’t know about, buddy?” She prompts, the amusement still ringing in every inch of her tone.
