"Interesting" Hans spoke to himself. She was definitely new here... he had not seen her last year after all, though she seemed quite dignified in a more dominant way, not so much like a lady but a king. That intrigued him more than anything else about her. He had listened on the guest talking, saying her name was "Pocahontas". Definitely not European, but that was no matter to his curiosity. 

Carefully he snuck his way around and through the guest, carefully positioning himself near her before taking a few steps up to the woman. "Hello!" he spoke with a smile. "I have never had the pleasure of meeting you. Oh I apologize where are my manners. I am Prince Hans of the Southern Isles."

Good evening!  A quick note to my lovely CDRP partners to say that, although school etc. kept me from the event more than I'd have liked, leaving me with many an unfinished thread, if any of y'all want to carry on with them until they're tied up a little more, please let me know, because I'd love to continue. 

On another note, Tumblr seems to have eaten like half my asks??  If you sent me anything in the last few weeks or so that I haven't replied to, please resend it because that'll be why!

New Horizons ((Closed))

The fresh air is cool against his skin as water sprayed up from the ship onto his features. God how he loves this, the freedom, the excitement, the notoriety. A lot of men who want to sail to new lands sought him out because the ships he was on, all of them came back alive..maybe not always in one piece, but he brought them back alive.

A smile lands on his  face as he sees the land, the land that held secrets for him to discover. Though the man funding this vessel was in it for the gold they would find here. 

Gold didn't mean much to him, not that he didn't have a lot of it already, so this is all about the authority and admiration.

Readying the boat to move ashore, Hans was the first on it, fun and ammo in the satchel at his hip. 

It's time to see just what lays behind the bushes and under the trees. The only thing he knew for certain is that..this is going to be a life changer.

Rummaging through one of the trailers for something that would pass for a rake to even out some fresh sand, Bert was interrupted in his quest as he was informed he was needed in the big top.

He quickly decided that a push broom was his best option and grabbed it before heading out and finding that the tent was currently being occupied by the animal tamer. He couldn't say he had the opportunity to talk with her much, but now was apparently his chance. 

Waiting until she had finished up with the current beast she was working with, he gave the girl a friendly smile as he approached her, making sure to give her companions some decent room in the event that they didn't like strangers too much.

"'Ey there! Summun said you wos in need of some 'elp?" He asked, stuffing his hands in his pockets ass he waited for commands.
