I have an AU called the MXTX Author AU. Most of the characters are writers. Shen Yuan and Shen Jiu are editors. Wei Wuxian is popular but has a habit of finishing his stories with cliffhangers. Lan Wangji is the only one who can finish his stories with a good ending. Hua Cheng and Xie Lian Co-Write. Luo Binghe is a good writer and Shen Yuan helps him improve. Shen Jiu doesn't like Luo Binghe and takes some anger out on Shang Qinghua.

- PLEASE LET SY BE SQH’S EDITOR HAHAHAHA and then one day, SY cant make it so SJ goes to SQH and SQH just cries bc gdi how did the evil twin enter his room w/ his metaphorical pitchfork gdi cucumber-bro- WWX has the attention span of a toddler unless he’s really into it but he always ends up in cliffies bc heyyy wouldn’t it be funny to see his readers’ reactions to that uwu (SY calls SJ for back up on this one)- LWJ is SY and SJ’s favorite - the most unproblematic author they’ve ever had if only he’d stop referencing his characters to WWX - alternatively for hualian: HC is the artist and does all the cover and maybe some chapter arts (even merch and the like) for XL’s novels!! SJ and SY are chill with these oldies AGAIN IF ONLY they didn’t get wrapped around each other every 8 minutes HELLO WE HAVE A DEADLINE HERE- SJ once read LBH’s manuscipt and the MC sounds too much like a certain someone and by certain someone he means his twin LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE NEEDS TO TALK TO HIS KNIFE

MXTX Author AU! Luo Binghe writes a papapa scene involving his mc and Shen Jiu happens to be the first editor that reads it. He knows that Luo Binghe's mc is based off his brother and reading the papapa scene....Shen Jiu almost kills him with the pen. Also, my own headcanon. Wei Wuxian also writes fanfiction. He trolls his readers by "somehow" predicting things that happen in the novels he writes. Lan Wangji reads them. Jiang Cheng doesn't know. He thinks that someone is stealing WWX's ideas

LBH would actually be smart to try and get to SJ’s good side hahaha and omg JC ranting so hard on his social media about this fanfic author while WWX cackles on the side (“Take this seriously, you fckr!” “HAHAHAHAHA”)
