How to be motivated to unpack after you move.
If you’re like most people, here’s how your big move typically goes.
First, you experience the overwhelming feeling of excitement. You’re about to begin a new life in a new place. What could possibly be wrong?
Next, is the feeling of reality when you realize how much has to be done before you can move. But you can handle that, not a problem.
After the work has been done, it’s time to actually move. You go through the motions of organizing everything, packing it all up, trying to find certain items and all the other wonderful things that you might run into. A difficult process, no doubt. But you get through it, with just a few minor bumps and scratches, and potentially a migraine. Other than that, you’re okay. The worst is behind you.
What happens next is you get into your new place, unpack the essentials, and go straight to bed. Here’s the problem, you still have most of your belongings packed up in boxes. This is something our Removalists Caboolture is too familiar with. In order to save you from the procrastination trap, we’ve compiled a few tips to help motivate yourself into unpacking your stuff.
Just start (once you begin, you’ll be more likely to keep the momentum going)
Be excited! After all, it’s your new home
