[ Doomed Brothers ]

[ A little bit of a story time : My canon for my operator and drifter is that they were both siblings. Brothers by blood in both universes. The Drifter, Rueben, being a little bit older than the Operator, Malaki, in this page full of ideas of their interactions together. Rueben is the one who wears glasses and Malaki is the one with the shorter hair.

The tragedy between both of them is the brothers lose each other in both universes. In Rueben's world, within the Zariman, Rueben failed at protecting his brother and Malaki was killed and turned into a void angel like their parents. In Malaki's universe, Rueben died in his brother's arms after the events of the Old Peace. Rueben trying to protect his younger brother from open crossfire after meeting again once more, for the briefest of moments, on the ship above Tau.

But there was a time, in both universes, where they were both together as stupid, humorous brothers. Looking out for one another, training together, and causing small amounts of mischief for the hell of it. ]
