A weird UFO sighting I had when I was a bit younger.

   Ok, so I have this small airport (I mean very small) maybe less than half a mile away from my house, I've driven past it and from what I can see from behind the fence it's made mainly for small 2 seater airplanes and stuff like that to land there. And because of that I always hear and see airplanes flying over my house to get to the airport. The first thing that struck me as odd is that I see many large military planes and helicopters flying over. Now one night My father calls me over to show me something and points out the window to show me these 3 lights in the sky just above the treeline. They were darting about and flying around in strange patterns that you would never see the typical airplane doing. So I sat there and watched the lights flying in very odd patterns for quite a while until I saw a military plane come over and what looked like escort them away, it flew in the opposite direction, towards the water and the lights followed. My dad working in the Air Force still back then thought this was highly unusual, he said that he's never seen the military do anything like that especially so close to where civilians live. So I thought this was even odder. I come to find out later that my Dad calls up his Air Force and asks about it, and they deny that ever happening and said its probably just a routine exercise they do over there. My Dad then suggests they stop doing it so close to peoples houses. I remember a few more "exercises" going on at night spread out over a couple years but it has seemed to stop, now I don't know if its because of suspicion or what but I have checked and there have been about 4 UFO sightings in my town alone. And my town is pretty small. I still see large military planes and helicopters going over my house.
