Nickistat praise kink but it's Lestat telling Nicki how talented he is at playing the violin and how beautiful his music is (even though Nicki hates it bc he's iffy about compliments like that) bc Lestat loves how awkward it makes him and loves to see him flush with embarrassment and hide his face behind his hair
I went to my town's christmas fair last night and it made me think about Loustat going out to one just to look at all the pretty lights and buy hot drinks to smell and keep their lil handsies warm and most of the time Lestat's just watching Louis bc he's so mesmerised by all the lights and decorations it reminds Lestat of when he was first turned and he'd stare up at the moon for ages and he finds it so endearing that nothing else could possibly as interesting to look at than his beloved
Louis mistaking Lestat for being Paul one morning because he's kinda dazed and groggy from the sun starting to come up which makes his mind a bit slow and Lestat starts trying to tell him he's not Paul but Louis isn't having any of it and starts apologising for What Happened so in the end Lestat just goes along with it and tells him he's forgiven just to placate him while trying to lead him to his coffin for the day but Louis' like a baby monkey clinging onto him and won't let go even when they reach it so Lestat ends up getting in with him and giving him a kiss in an attempt to quiet his mumbled rambling apologies which Louis doesn't necessarily push him away for before huddling against him in the coffin as the sun pulls him into sleep
That scene in TOTBT
Louis blatantly ignoring Claudia's crystal clear warnings about Armand
Louis waking up on his birthday to Claudia practically jumping up and down on him excitedly before dragging him out of his coffin and into the parlour where Lestat's sitting and she gives him a crudely scrawled note that says 'happy birthday papa' on it with a picture underneath of them holding hands with big smiles and Lestat gives him the rare copy of a book he'd been not so subtly looking at one night a few weeks ago then the three of them take a nice moonlit walk before returning home where Louis reads to them both from his new book
Lestat and Louis sneaking off during one of the balls at court to find a quiet room away from everyone else, where they end up dancing to the muffled music and having their own private ball. They probably have a little make-out session as well before settling down for the day in Lestat's apartments
