Ok, I’m just gonna say it. I loathe the Apology Dance.
I was talking with my friend just this noon and I mentioned that what's happening with all the Blue Lock characters isn't exactly "evolution". I phrased it in a way where I said that it felt like Ego was simply just feeding them growth hormones, because the moment their supposed evolution was put to a halt everything started crumbling soon after. You can't build up these people's 'egos' from rock bottom and then start to get upset and stressed when your philosophy formed on the basis of *hypocrisy* starts to crumble.
Hugo's ideology starts making more and more sense as the chapters go on, and maybe that's what's so dangerous. Blue Lock's foundation is just independence colliding to form coincidences and chemical reactions (which I view as symbiotic relationships) in order to feed the egos of whoever's playing, and it's clear that it isn't really 'proper' football in the grand scheme of things. It's reckless and inhumane compared to the chemistry of other national teams (¬_¬)
It's such an insane move to complain about Karasu and Hiori's goal when you yourself as a coach have been striving for nothing but these players to think of their own ideas and grow as individuals alone. Karasu's way of growth was through guiding others and working for the team – and I honestly feel that's the real "evolution" that Ego always talks about (*´-`)
You attract what you consume.
You attract what you think.
You attract what you are.
So, consume positive things, think positive thoughts and become a positive person.
Stance Post!
[PT: Stance Post!]
I thought it would be in this blogs best interest to make a post on my views and stances, not only in the paraphile community, but just in general. In my pinned post, I’m aware that I put some of what I support, but I felt that a more in depth approach would be beneficial for this blog. I do give explanations for my stances.
This may be a bit long.
The nuance of things like romantic and platonic relationships is fascinating to me. I'm like 90% sure I'm aromantic (or quoiromantic, aegoromantic or something on that spectrum), but that's precisely why I find this all so fascinating. The marks of a romantic relationship can be all the same marks of a platonic relationship. Worrying about someone? Saying I love you? Showing physical affection? Never wanting anything bad to happen to them? What makes these things inherently romantic or platonic? I'll tell you: nothing. The answer is nothing.
So for me romance and a platonic relationship are just the same exact thing. And if you were to tie my hands behind my back and force me to say something different, here's the extent of my flexibility: romantic love is like the natural extension of platonic love. But one can't happen without the other. To get to romance, you have to at least dabble in the platonics. That's how I view it, at least. Maybe some other people view it differently, but this is just the only way things make sense to me.
