Die Roll-&-Write-Variante habe ich bisher nur solo gespielt, aber das Spielgefühl von „My City“ wurde hervorragend übertragen. Eingeteilt in Kapitel startet man auch in „Roll & Write“ mit wenigen Regeln, es kommen nach und nach neue hinzu, und zusätzlich gibt es andere Möglichkeiten, um zu punkten. Die Vorgabe, welches Gebäude gemalt werden muss, wird hier erwürfelt, nicht über Karten vorgegeben. Das macht das Ganze deutlich spannender, da man nicht vorhersagen kann, was gewürfelt wird. Ich habe gleich alle Kapitel am Stück durchgespielt und hatte auch mit der Variante richtig Spaß. Mal schauen, wie es sich mit mehreren Mitspielern verhält. Einen negativen Punkt hab ich allerdings: Die Würfel sind extrem billig. Ultra leichte Plastikwürfel, die teils schlecht beklebt sind und Grate an den Kanten haben. Da hätte ich doch etwas mehr erwartet. 🇬🇧 “My City – Roll & Write” also had to move in. We found the big brother “My City” extremely good. I've only played the Roll & Write variant solo so far, but the feel of "My City" was transferred excellently. Divided into chapters, you also start with a few rules, new ones are gradually being added, and there are also other ways to score. The specification of which building has to be drawed is rolled, not given by cards. This makes the whole thing much more exciting, because you cannot predict what will be rolled. I played through all the chapters in one go and had a lot of fun with the variant. Let's see how it behaves with several players. However, I have one negative point: The dice are extremely cheap. Ultra-light plastic cubes, some of them are badly glued and have burrs on the edges.
