Summer Letters ∞ Lily + James

Dear Lily,

So I have a secret I want to share but I've been told that I'm not allowed to reveal it until we get to school. But I thought I should let you know it's a big surprise and I'm sure you'll love it.

This summer's kind of boring. Sirius keeps wanting to go back to the beach and I'm really sick of getting sand in my pants. I figured since I'm bored, I miss your face, and it's been awhile since I last pestered you, I'd start writing you letters. How's your summer been? Hopefully Petunia's being nice to you.

I attached a photo Sirius decided to take of me last week--because you know you miss my face too. Don't I have the best first-morning expressions?
