Was sp lucky I found this yellow-and-white stripes fabric. I was not planning to paint it because a kid would be wearing it.
All the fabric are soft and stretchy.

I enjoyed doing this Carrot Commish.
I used the same techniques from that Bunny Riven Project I did before. I use the same fur on the pink part but the white one is different - it has smaller strands.
The hat was patterned from a chikara hat base and is strategically holed in position with the ears. I used thick soft felt on the hat which is perfectly shaped once you wear it on your head. The flower is made out of thin soft felt and I used the "glue and wrap" technique to make the petals.
The ears are boned with light weight wire so you can squeesh the ears to pop in and out of the hat. I did not cover the headband piece with fur and it can be worn separately without the hat.
Here it is! The final look of the hoodie and the cape. I did hand sewing parts at the ears, the fur parts and the ribbon but other than that, everything else is machine sewed. To estimate, I made the cape and the hoodie part for 5 days. :) More #ProjectCatGirl posts here. Full FB Album here.
Made these two costumes for a Christening / Birthday Celebration of a friend's baby.
(1)Baby Pez - the Fedora Hat I eagerly looked for at Divisoria! It was so hard to look for the smallest size! The bib I handsewn from fleece.
(2)Baby Link - made this set for a week! I will be posting a detailed one next to this. :)
This is my 2nd full-set commission for a kid (baby) ~ and I am beginning to get scared that this ain't be the last!
Making kid's costumes are harder than the normal sized ones. Cute is never easy y'all!
