A brief digression now about editing. Brief but urgent. Editing does not get the respect it should. There are so many awards for reporters. Where are the awards for editors? There are so many famous reporters. So few famous editors. I believe that gifted editors are rarer than talented reporters. .... Editing is crucial because in my experience anything you try to make - what YOU want is for the story to be AMAZING. But what the story wants to be is MEDIOCRE OR WORSE. And the entire process of making the story is convincing the story to not be what it wants to be, which is BAD. And turning it from the bad thing it’s trying to be, where the sources are inarticulate, and you don’t know how to structure it, and the structure you make doesn’t work, into the shining gleaming jewel that you have in your heart … that is editing! Everyone else … Love your editors. Choose them with the care you’d choose someone to have sex with. Do not have sex with them! Let me go back. Choose them with the care you’d choose a good friend.

My favorite Larry fic writer is myownsparknow. I would send this on anon and be sneaky, but she would know it was me because I am the self-appointed co-founder of her fan club. lol. If anyone hasn't read something by her, I beg you to go read something and come scream with me about it. My favorite thing of hers is Just Tell Me the Song and I'll Sing It, but she also wrote Day 7 of 30 Days of Smut and that is also life changing. It will change your life with its beauty. For real.

Hi Kara, congrats on Under Pressure! I see at the top of the book it refers to the "No Pressure, No Diamonds series." Can you tell a little bit about what is planned for the series?

Thank you, I’m very excited about the release day today! The plans mostly involve following the crew on new heists, and maybe seeing how they deal when something *doesn’t* work out, both in their job and in their private lives. 

I think the most interesting question will be, who we’ll follow in the next book. I can totally see it being London and / or Sebastian again. But then there’s also Frankie, who I think would make an awesome POV character...

📖 Louis lets the heat of the small mug of coffee in his hands warm him for a moment before he takes a sip and stares out the glass pane of his kitchen door.

📖 Today’s Chatham Chatter! A little bird told us that the pranksters who outfitted our beloved founder’s statue with a bikini and grass skirt last week is not the fraternity you’d suspect … it was, in fact, a certain mild mannered sorority! 

📖 Louis Tomlinson can't cook.

📖 Liam yawns behind his hand as he stretches in his desk chair.  

📖 Louis checks his rearview mirror as he backs out of his driveway. People rarely come down the dirt road in front of the Farmhouse, but when they do, they’re usually driving really fucking fast.

📖 From the beginning of time there were soulmates.

📖 A prickle of fear runs through Harry’s body. 

📖 Louis stretches his arms overhead and yawns, squats down to wrench open the garage door, then jumps up and pushes it to make sure it catches and doesn’t roll back down. 

📖 There were cattle in the road.

📖 The thing about inheriting a giant, ancient country house from a mysterious great aunt along with a mysterious condition that said you have to live alone in the house for at least six months before the ownership would be fully turned over was that you had to actually, fucking, do that.

📖 For all of his life, Harry had had small expectations for his future.

📖 Harry steps out onto the tarmac at Logan, the humidity of the late August afternoon immediately wilting his curls and drawing the sweat from his skin after the cool of the airplane.

📖 Harry smiled when the Chicago skyline came into view, its imposing cloud-scraping towers nestled into the edge of lake Michigan.

📖 Charlotte meets her soulmate two weeks into her first season. 

📖 The thing about sleeping with a member of a famous indie band is that the inevitability of having a song written about you is most likely a hundred percent.

📖 Dark clouds roll across the deep green English countryside. 

📖 There’s a light gleaming in the distance.

📖  Louis sat back from his laptop screen and then leaned from side to side to get a better perspective.

📖 Multiple layers of rhythmic sounds created a cacophony in the air.

📖 “Will he feel it?” It’s the same question he’s been wondering all day but hasn’t exactly had the courage to ask.

📖 Louis is not a morning person.

📖 Harry closes his eyes and takes in the applause, savors it. 

📖 It's 3.17 am when he gets the call.
