Baby it’s Cold Outside (The Webcomic) - Part 5.1

This update is apparently too long for tumblr to handle, so I’m going to split it up into two parts. Apologies for the broken second panel, I had to break it into 500px squares to get tumblr to accept it. 

I think my ability to plan comic panels suffered this update. Also, I don’t think I thought about how many times I was going to have to draw pokemon bird heads when I decided to draw this. (It’s around 50)

I reread the Gabite/Sydney thread and i am just realizing how much i rushed through everything..... poor Ono had like 4 tangents to reply to each time and there was just so much going on that replying to other conversational chunks meant it was no longer relevant

DID YOU KNOW

that the other staff actually lets me make icons for our OTM sidebar

they let me just... type a Pokemon into the Tumblr and Google search bars, find a cute art, cut a square out of it, and throw some kind of filter or color effect on top

they allow me to make aesthetic choices

Character concept: an old man who goes around claiming he's a Pokemon Professor and trying to advise younger trainers, but actually he's just a cranky old grandpa with outdated information (he doesn't believe Dark, Fairy, or Steel are "real" types and his information on moves and weaknesses end at Gen II) who wants the young hooligans of today to treat him with some RESPECT.

everyone has cool Pokemon cultists and I keep having to sit on the Lake Trio cultist I kinda wanna make

she is training and meditating to achieve a perfect balance of intellect, composure, and will so that she can become a “messenger” to the lake guardians
