thoughts on akatsuki? like whos your fav and the characters in general

LOVE EM it probably does come a lot from the time i first got into naruto tho lol. the gaara retrieval arc was airing and the akatsuki were the FANDOM FAVE. i played every akatsuki spin the bottle [LONG ANSWER] quiz you could find on quizilla. back then i loved tobidei but its ok we all make mistakes

anyway for a more serious answer they shouldve been the end game big bad and no not in the secret evil obito way. they were so mysterious to begin with but then you just. see them all die one by one and its kind of. anticlimactic i guess? sad to put such a fascinating concept to waste

as for character specif stuff my fave is sasori because i wanna **** him and my least favorite is hidan because i’m a kinkshamer. konan gets honorable mention for bein super cool but also a victim of narrative misogyny. sad
