Hey^^ I just wanted to get someone elses opinion if this fancy is too fancy before I throw this tiefling into other peoples faces. Like... Do you think it's too far off for a tief? Pastell blue skin with pastell pink vitiligo, red eyes, and blue hair. They're a pirate and warlock with a sea creature patron and instead of horns have pink coral like formations growing on their head. Is coral horns too far off for a tiefling?? I was called "being extra" for antlered tiefs before ^^"

I mean I stan this cotton candy pirate. That sounds like a really cool design, and imo you can change tieflings quite a lot and come up with different fiendish traits for them. The only thing I’d do here is consider what fiend this tiefling carries the essence of, since they don’t come across as an Asmodeus tiefling to me. Maybe one could come up with an ocean-themed devil or demon for that? Especially if the horns are like... real living coral with zooxanthellae symbiosis and stuff and not just horns that are coral-like in appearance. I’m curious now lmao, did the coral polyps come from their own body or are they foreign animals? I assume the exoskeleton is anchored to their skull, otherwise the corals would just fall off or it would be super painful to have them just attached to the skin. Or are they not corals and not horns but something else that just looks like coral? Or are they just dead coral skeletons?

But yea I mean it depends of the DM whether or not it’s too extra. For a tiefling just existing in a vacuum it’s not too extra imo, but when put into a specific setting it might or might not be extra. I can’t tell what your DM thinks of the idea. :’)
