52 obi-wan (he's asleep)
I'm so so sorry this took so long! Things happened but here it is!
Palette challenge
He fell asleep staring at a pic of Anakin 😊
Thank you so so much for sending this prompt! I hope you like it!
could you like. explain jupmping spiders to me in a way that makes it sound less terrifying than the phrase 'jumping spiders'? please and thank you, help me on my quest to cherish spiders
I'm not sure I can because they do indeed jump! And sometimes they will jump at you, but it's not because they're aggressive or want to bite you. They are just very curious and sometimes don't recognize a giant person as a predator. They just want to explore and look for delicious bugs to eat and you make a nice perch. Jumping spiders are not at all dangerous to humans, and the vast majority are quite small anyway! Not to mention...they are extremely cute :)
13. Do you listen to music while you write? If yes, what have you been listening to recently?
and
43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?
Hello and thank you!!! I just did 43 but for 13: (for this ask game)
I sometimes listen to music to get into the zone for writing, often just a specific song on repeat that I think matches the story. While writing I can't really listen to anything with lyrics so I have a few playlists of classical and jazz and stuff but I've also been listening to these playlists of...sounds? Idk how else to describe them but they're supposed to help with concentration and so far they at least aren't actively harming me? And I'll say this: I can't get random sounds stuck in my head all day like I can actual music.
slow blinking at you to show i'm not quite as angry anymore
I accept this sign of affection and give a solemn head nod back

i’m so glad you’re doing your coherent enthusing + images posts for this movie it deserves it
I’m so glad you’re enjoying them! And everyone who has commented and said nice things, you guys are the absolute best and so kind and it really has made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Honestly, this fandom is one of the best I’ve been in for people being really great--sure, we’ve had our share of awful moments, we’ve had our share of drama and fighting, but overall? It’s been a pretty damn great experience and that’s because all of you are so friendly and supportive and enthusiastic and kind! I’m glad they’re coming out as coherent, too, because LET ME TELL YOU I spent the first day or so just kind of flailing and not being sure where to even start, I had so many things I wanted to unpack and talk about. For all that it had a lot of jokes and seemed like a non-serious movie, I feel like it’s largely holding up to the scrutiny that we nerds are leveling at it and the emotional moments hold up. Yes, they’re briefer than I might personally have liked, but I didn’t feel it was... okay, look, you guys know I will defend TDW all day long, I loved many things about that movie, but one of its flaws was absolutely that it didn’t know how to move from a serious moment to a joking moment. Loki died on Svartalfheim and thirty seconds later they’re doing a joke about Jane dating some other guy?? That did not work at all, imo. But I feel like Thor was in a better place by this movie, he’d taken a look at so much of what had happened in his life and went, “Screw it, I’m just going to power through this.” But we see that the losses in this movie do have an effect. He mourns his father and says a prayer for him. He mourns the loss of Asgard. But he understands that he needs to keep moving forward, and I think once he’s said what he needed to say, then he could crack a joke because that was his way of getting up and moving on. Not forgetting or ignoring, but continuing forward.

Very carefully hugs you back to avoid throwing up on you even over the internet. <3
mitarashiko said: I cant believe I’m in a similar situation right now when I read this everything made sense to me. I suspended my medication gradually but even yet I feel so sick I cant eat because the nauseas is too much. I hope we get better (probably I have to take another medication)
I’m sorry to hear that, I hope you will feel better soon, not eating/throwing up is crippling because after some time you can barely lift a finger. Funny thing is, even after spending 100€ in blood tests it only occurred to me earlier to go check the leaflet inside my medication to read the possible side-effects of suspending it. I’m fairly sure my blood tests will result more or less fine, and that that’s the real reason for my sickness. I admit I suspended the medication relatively fast even if gradually, but funnily enough the leaflet of the med itself recommends suspending it faster rather than slower, though they still list nausea, vomit and headaches as collateral effects if you interrupt the medication. I didn’t even want to stop taking antidepressants for good, I just got fed up of taking meds for years without having good enough effects on my depression and anxiety. I just thought to suspend my main medication and then start all over with a new psychiatrist and a new medication, but apparently now I can’t stop throwing up both when I eat and when I don’t due to my choice, and I now have to deal with that beside dealing with my usual mood problems, which definitely doesn’t help.
I will ask my GP as well tomorrow if suspending the medication can really be the cause for this whole issue, if it can be useful for you I will write a post with what he said so you know. :)
"what i gain i lose" obi-wan but like. sith obi-wan. <3
Ohhh I thought it would be an easier palette to work with but as it didn't have as much contrast between colours as I expected, I had to go creative with it!
From this list of colour palettes!
Sith Obi-Wan for you! What does he have in his hand? Anakin's padawan braid, I like to imagine he fell after something bad happened to him (or he thinks that) or that he "lost" Anakin after falling and he only has his braid now
