🖼 my favorite types of characters

for the longest time, my bread & butter were unhinged assholes. and they still are . . . i mean, just look at my multi :') but i also adore characters that despite everything they've had to endure, stayed genuinely kind. these characters just get to me like no other. in general, though, i love a character with depth; with lots of layers to them & where you never expect how they might react to a certain thing.

📫 my favorite type of ships

when it comes to romantic ships, i have two favorites: ride-or-dies whose love for the other is literally all-consuming, hungry & kinda dangerous or .... will-they-won't-they slow-burn 200k enemies to lovers with lots of angst. once again, i love angst & just lots & lots of tension. when it comes to general shipping, though? friendships. best friends. people who are there for each other no matter what; they hug, they kiss but they're just platonic besties. i don't know i just love friendships where two people are 100% comfortable with one another, it's so important to me!! and enemies. antagonistic forces clashing with one another. the best of it all though? obsessive rivalries. they hate each other so much that it creates that spicy tension. chef's kiss!!

𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐇 𝐇𝐔𝐄, the sky dyes pallid skin with flattering sunset stains as the god appears before @mythcaels — that is, with baked goods in-hand as he emerges from the roasty, tantalizing confines of a local bakery. fleurano likes to think of this as a chance encounter, though he would fail to admit that he had been thinking about this particular human all day. despite a goth, punkish demeanor, theo embodies pinkness as though he worships it; bubbly and sweet, quick to blush. the boundless deluge of energetic nature and an intent to cherish and savor makes for the perfect way to capture the god's attention, and so he had placed himself in the man's path, sure to garner the the same attention in return. he had spent countless nights frolicking in theo's dreams, enough to make himself known — enough that he wouldn't go unnoticed.

from @mythcaels ❝ Kakashi. ❞ He knows the Hatake is awake despite the fact he hasn't made a glance in his direction, probably watching him now as he himself watches the stars. ❝ I am tired. ❞ It's a quiet set of words, not meaning the kind of tired that can be fixed with sleep ( he means that his soul is tired ). ❝ I do not know how to stop feeling so tired. ❞ Knees are pulled to chest, arms wrapping around them and holding them in place.

Kakashi is indeed awake, one eye occasionally peering into the shifting shadows around them before coming to rest on Itachi once more. At a mere glance it would be hard to tell from how heavy his lid is, impossible even for someone turned away, but the Uchiha had seemingly gotten accustomed to being under Kakashi's watchful gaze.

It's the first time he's heard acknowledgment rather than the usual stubbornness, but in that soft tone and self-protecting curl, Kakashi can easily sense this newly offered vulnerability.

He tugs a tightly folded blanket from the side of his bag as he rises and shakes it out upon approach. The fabric is thin, but soft and warm, and it flutters outward as its placed around Itachi's shoulders.

"I wish I could promise you peace." He says quietly as he sits next to his partner. "But I can promise you, you won't be alone."

It was fun to play along and allow him to think as if you were another victim to fall to the tides of the ocean, yet the moment you touched the water you simply glided across the waves instead. ❝ i thought i would find you here . ❞ valerian hums , his voice feather light and quiet . it's just loud enough over the sound of the waves , and he stands to join her at where the sea would lap over their shoes . it is a beautiful night , and the moon hangs high above them in all its splendor .
