I was up bright and early to visit St Paul's Anglican Grammar School in Warragul today. I love when schools become family and I get to revisit each year and chat to the different year levels. I'm always welcomed by a bunch of students in the car park who are eagerly waiting to hear my story. It's such bliss when they tell me they have been all over my website learning as much as they can before we meet. Thank you for making my Thursdays full of love and happiness 🙏🏻 P.S A big sorry to the two students that got chopped out of this picture, blame your teacher for the terrible photo taking skills 😂 #spinchat #sciawareness #mywheellife (at St Paul's Anglican Grammar School)
#tbt to that time I looked death right in the face. LITERALLY! And while we are on that topic this is also a NEW BLOG POST ALERT💕 Last Sunday marked 7 years since I became a quadriplegic which feels very weird as I can't believe how fast time has gone. It's an emotional but happy time around this time each year as I'm glad to be alive and still making huge gains but it doesn't come without the pain and heart ache at the same time. Link in bio 💗🙏🏻 #newblog #blogalert #melbourneblogger #mywheellife
Sunday! The day of preparation and rejuvenation. I'm making an effort each and every Sunday to give myself some TLC. For my mind, my body and my heart. Whether it be a nice walk (roll), reading a book, meditating or having a nice warm salt bath. This gives me a chance to wind down from the week before, and prepares me for the week ahead 🙏🏻 #sunday #mywheellife (at Great Ocean Road)
Quiet your mind. Soak it all in. It's a game you can't win. Enjoy the ride 🙏🏻💕 #mywheellife (at Sherbrook River)
Days like these make me so excited for Summer ☀️ I have missed you sunshine! #sunsout #playtime #walkies #sunnymelbourne #mywheellife
I've been having constant dreams lately about walking around, not being in my wheelchair anymore and I've kinda just been ignoring them. But as I got into bed tonight I had an epiphany! Something told me to get my arse out of bed and rummage to the back of my wardrobe and pull out my crutches. It's been a few years since they were out and also probably a few to many excuses. Sometimes life can get so crazy that you just forget how important your goals were. In 508 days I will marry the one I love and one thing I know for sure is this - it will happen on foot! 💪🏻👰🏼 #walkingquad #pinkshoes #pinksticks #walkingbrideinthemaking #mywheellife
