Wonderful Italian black metal with forestry/mythical/folk elements. Absolutely in love with Selvans, as they’ve rose to my top artists as of late. Their style reminds me of Mirrorthrone a bit, which is an instant 10/10 from me.

Some of my most liked dark/electronic/trap style music that I’ve found. I also like ZillaKami a lot, after I discovered him from City Morgue.

An Icelandic (depressive) black metal band. Great stuff that feels fresh and also keep coming back to it whenever I’m in the mood for depressing music (like 85% of the time lmao).

A recent release of one of my favorite bands out of France that started out as a depressive black metal band, turned into black metal musette style. First listened to this at work on a quiet day and I could not hold back my feet tapping the beat to this one. Rest of the album is fantastic too!

Í þau rúmu 20 ár sem greinarhöfundur hefur verið viðloðandi svartmetalinn hefur hann sjaldan upplifað jafnmikla grósku í grasrótinni og núna. Það er eins og hann sé kominn á byrjunarreitinn aftur, nýjar hljómsveitir spretta upp og hægt er að kaupa kassettur af þeim og fá þær sendar heim að dyrum, alveg eins og maður var vanur hér áður fyrr. Póstkassinn er aftur orðinn fastur liður í tilverunni.
