Designed by Studio MDHR Entertainment, brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer sacrificed a lot to make this game a reality. Remortgaging their houses and quitting their full time jobs, with a small team they devoted their blood, sweat, and tears into creating the side scrolling run and gun you love to hate. Based on the popular stylings of old cartoon classics like Walt Disney's Steamboat Willy, the game lives and breathes slow under the breath expletives as you try to win the boys' freedom from the devil.
Yes the devil. Disguised as a casino owner, the two mischievous boys Cuphead and Mugman (insert picture) get a hot streak in the club. Thinking they won't lose the Devil makes a proposition: ( find out what it is). The boys lose and beg for their souls so the Devil makes another deal: if they can collect all the contracts out on other people they can keep their souls. The boys rush off and the adventure begins.
Gameplay
As mentioned before, the game is a 2 player side scroller with access to gain new abilities and powers along the way. No boss is the same as you will be required to try die repeat until eventually beating them.
Final opinion
If you love to get hit in your nostalgia button or love to see people cry out desperately to the gaming gods for why this game is so difficult then this is the game for you.
