11.11.2013; Naive Humans
Mother Nature, are you more than you seem? The wind is blowing ever so lightly; it is very peaceful outside today. I wish it were quieter though; there are many voices around distracting me from the sounds of nature. I do not wish to hear this random gossip.. A bee just startled me; he (she?) crept right up next to my ear and buzzed quite loudly - was (s)he attempting to tell me something? Insects and animals can actually sense what is to come in weather - even natural disasters.. They somehow sense when it is time to evacuate or get to higher grounds if necessary. It is as if Mother Nature has a secret, discrete method of speaking to animals of all kinds; even insects of some species! Why does Mother Nature not speak to humans in any way or form? Wait. Maybe Mother Nature does communicate with us; we are just too oblivious or distracted to see or hear or notice. Maybe she is extremely discrete like the way you smell the rain before it actually drops from the sky? Or the way you can smell that you are near the ocean before you can literally view it? She must give us signals; like hints. Animals and insects are not caught up in the everyday bull shit that humans are. When Mother Nature sends her warnings - nobody is attentive enough to successfully listen and observe. Mother Nature laughs at us. She's saying "Naive Humans"
