I am so relieved and glad to be done with my college apps. It was a constant stress nagging me for the past 6+ months, since the summer. I'm a natural procrastinator so I was never truly on top of my work, especially when it came to college apps. I set goals to have all my essays completed over the summer and submitted Early Action. Alas, that did not happen. All of my CSU and UC applications were finished regular decision in November. January came along and I was still working on my essays for my Common App. These essays were submitted day of deadline. I spent all day working on them and I had a lot to do. I also realized how much research I lacked. I didn't realize God many of my schools had supplemental essays. I had to quickly write something up. Not my best work but it was better than nothing. I still believe that I can get accepted into some of these schools.
Besides college, I've been balancing just good ol' regular high school classes. It's the start of the semester so things haven't gotten too heavy. Thankfully everything has been pretty manageable. Last week I had a lot of my homework done way in advance to work on college apps. It was great... except for the fact that I didn't work on them during the time I made.
Track conditioning has recently started up and I'm getting back in the groove of running. The last I ran was the end of my XC season which was in October. I had a very chill off-season. I got new running shoes AnD I'm excited to get back in shape as I want to have a really good senior track season. Time to PR!!
I've gone out to hang out a good amount of times. I went to the aquarium, got tons of boba and food, and gone shopping. I'm spending more time with extended friends and making more plans to hang with them.
Overall I think I've been pretty productive. Of course there was a few days of no work or productivity but it's better than how it was before.
Goals For The Next 2 Weeks
1. Work on one A/B day homework the day it is given
2. Drink 2 water bottles worth of water every day
3. Tidy up at least one part of room every day
