When God poured out blessings, nalunod ako. :)
Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it
When I first heard this verse, I was challenged. Tutal sabi naman ni Lord, "Subukan mo ako sa bagay na ito." I was 17 years old nung sinimulan kong ibigay yung 10% ng lahat ng resources ko habang estudyante pa ako noon. Ayun yung tipong sagad na sagad na pera ko pero I just believed na para yun kay God kaya ako magbibigay. Sa ganoong paraan, kahit papano maibabalik ko yun sa Kanya. Hindi ako nabigo. Ibinabalik pa Niya ng SOBRA-SOBRA yung mga blessings. Financially man o hindi. Bongga talaga si Lord.
Dumadating din yung panahon na nag-struggle ako sa aspetong ito. Hindi madali. Kasi minsan iisipin mo, "Lord, pass po muna ako?Okay lang?" Hindi naman sumagot si Lord eh. kaya siguro okay lang. But we didn't realize that we are stealing from Him.
Noong nagsimula akong magtrabaho. Challenging talaga. Pero bago pa ako nakapasok sa work ko, nagkaroon na ako ng deal kay Lord. God never fails to amaze me. Grabe talaga yung blessings niya sa akin, sa pamilya ko sa work ko, sa resources ko. He is a great Provider talaga.
Believe me, totoo talaga 'to. Ilang years ko na itong proven at tested. "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it" (Malachi 3:10)
Lunod na lunod ako sa blessings ni Lord. Siksik, liglig at umaapaw na biyaya. Thank you Lord for everything even though I deserve nothing. Thank You for being so faithful. Lalo na sa Iyong unfailling LOVE.
