yes reguri and mount silver but what about CINNABAR ISLAND?

tropical cinnabar, just south of pallet town, burbling magma, hot, active volcano to mt silver's frigid dormancy. the eruption after red disappears. blue lingering there in the deathly post-cataclysm stillness, what was once there on their journeys wiped clean like it never was in the first place. the awful things red found in the pokemon mansion gone, too. the freaking OST!!!! (once lively and hopeful, now quiet, resigned and peaceful, a lullaby.... or maybe just all the island can muster after the explosion, spent......)

ohhh cinnabar island belongs to them too, for me.......

ok so I’ve been thinking more about the Reguri AU again (the one where everyone is part pokemon) and I have more ideas

So obviously the love is forbidden but I realized I made the love seem one-sided in my first post because o forgot to mention Red’s thoughts which are “OH NO HES HOT” and so they encounter each other every once in a while and it goes along the lines of:

Blue: Oh look who it is, it’s my favorite twink

Red: *immediate gay panic*

So basically Blue flirts with Red a ton. Now you may be wondering. What does Red contribute to this?? Well we all know Blue still has weak points.

so what I’m thinking could happen is they’re flying around but a sudden storm rolls in and Blue struggles to keep going and eventually he gets struck by lightning because some strong Dragonite on the land below wanted the “prey” he had. So when they fall Blue shields Red when they hit the ground so Red is fine, but Blue gets knocked out by the impact. And you would think they’re defenseless, but Red locks tf in and uses lightning rod ability shit to absolutely vaporize the dragonites with electric type moves.

I don’t know what would happen after that but I DO know that Red would take care of Blue until he can fly again. Idk I thought that would be cute

one more thing. I think at first Red’s mom would disapprove of them but then they realized Blue truly loved Red and that they would probably be safe under Blue’s watch and eventually allowed it. Blue’s family on the other hand…not so much. Both in the homophobic way and the “you can’t marry prey dude you have to marry a pidgeot to keep the family lineage or sum” way so that sucks and due to that Blue thinks it would be best for them to run away together type shit
