Akwaaba radio show is celebrating August with an amazing illustration from @nmbrv . This graphic gives homage to Yaa Asantewaa, Queen Mother of Ejisu in the Ashanti Empire (now Ghana). In 1900 she led the Ashanti war known as the War of the Golden Stool against British colonialism.
