Digital Insects Artwork
For people who are afraid of this insects or are experiencing an aversion to them, an artist from Geneva, presented a whole collection of bugs and spiders created using digital technology. Bright colors and precise imitation of the originals make the project very attractive to the users. Istvan, also known under the pseudonym Chaotic Atmosphere, recently presented his paper entitled Biotop of Polygonia.
It is a collection of simulated "digital" insects of are nearly 100 species. For his projects, the author used Cinema 4D. First Istvan created a framework (body, legs, wings) and then used some deformers to give a visual volume of insects. Processing in Photoshop was the final stage in its work.
