So I lost about 5 days of my writing, not sure how much I wrote in that time but I'm probably not a nano winner right now anymore. And I checked my backup, the file that autosaved every 10 minutes, (I probably lost more of my story than I needed to by panic closing out of it before it could autosaved my mistake) and it didn't have a single word of what I wrote for all of nano.
And I just feel apathetic. I should care so much more. But no I'm dumb and I should have saved better and I never do and I deserve this.
I just saw that you finished a WIP, and I was curious where you put your finished works. Do you self publish, formal publish, keep em to yourself, scrawl them on the backs of pigeons and send them to the wind?
I actually just finished drafts of 2 wips recently! I just finished a Doctor in Union less than an hour ago and it’s on A03, because it’s fanfiction! I finished the first draft of Legends of Casteval 2 weeks ago and am doing a rewrite of it for NaNo. I’ve got a decent sized chunk of it posted here, but I do want to get it formally published once I’ve fixed all of the continuity errors of which there are currently so many that the story makes no sense.
