Since speaking with Andromeda, Walden had been stopping both at Lucius’s damn manor and Acid every day before heading home. It was probably a little bit much, all things considered, but he couldn’t help it. He really couldn’t.
When he saw her on the grounds, he nearly broke down. It was either her or it wasn’t. But she was here. “Cissy?” He called, trying not to come off too hopeful. “That you?”
