Forgive my ignorance, but can anyone tell me what this fruit is? We bought it at a stall in Little India in Singapore and didn’t think to ask.
The skin felt like a potato, and it was slightly harder than a kiwi (but not fuzzy). The flesh felt like an overripe pear, and tasted a little like a pear too, with some sweetness like maybe banana or custard or ... rum? Maybe it was slightly overripe. But it was very interesting and I liked it.
