why does Thierry’s character model sometimes glitch (i think that’s what it is?) eg when he was getting hit with newspaper by his wife

or the sour candy bit

OHHH GOOD EYE! i didn't think anyone was paying much attention to details like that!

intense emotion will distort / change aspects of the body, methink- given he's... you know, wearing the skin like a suit & it reacts in accordance with his emotions / feelings,

thus, while these instances are more for comedic effect than anything else, his body can & will react & " break " if the circumstances ( primarily shock of some sort ) call for it!

how would Thierry act towards Narrators that were perhaps a tad bit mean, or just antagonistic in general? I know he's quite the bully type when it comes to the more vulnerable ones HSFHHWHW but I can't help but wonder how he might be with others!!

hOUHHH what a great question,,,

i guess it really depends? i'll go ahead & highlight the fact that thierry himself is considerably antagonistic, being The Stanley Parable Narrator, carrying himself with arrogance & pride - especially around his fellow " alternates " ( it's how he copes ) & often not thinking about the consequences of his actions until they've already happened,

that said, he's a Lot of things - including morally askew at tomes, but he doesn't inherently go about life meaning any real harm toward those he interacts with; he's a geriatric jackass at best & an entitled selfish bastard at worst, but by No means lives just to hurt people

THOSE kinds of people- Narrators especially, who are needlessly cruel for the sake of it or without good reason beyond self-centered sadistic make him sick, if ONLY, if ONLY. because he feels associated with them due to his existence as a Narrator or his own ( far less abhorrent but still disliked ) behaviors; such he'd also distrust for rosemary's sake,

Narrators more akin to HIS flavor of antagonistic are really a hit or miss, finding them either Annoying & Repulsive or Respectable & One he might even like getting chummy with,,, or perhaps a bit of both. it really is a case by case basis with this one;

of course, the farther from thierry's personal favor they are, the more they're likely to be pettily despised;

now- you didn't specifically ask, but the reason that thierry can be a little harder on " more vulnerable " Narrators is because he instinctually views them through a very narrow lense; as- again, extensions of himself or otherwise " exceptionally immature older men, " which BEGS for a bit of teasing; his first thought Obviously not being " oh they're like that for a very good reason " until it's far too late & he's accidentally poked too much fun at... say- a narrator who's been abused by his stanley, as a random example;

of course, after he Gets the Hint, he more or less leaves those hypothetical vulnerable narrators alone or can even come to their defense depending,,, but ultimately, he sees a Full Grown Adult that should be able to stand up for himself & if they can't, that's Not going to be his cross to bear,

but uh,

TLDR; ......it all really depends on the individual & how they are.

& I SHOULD SAY THESE ARE VERY GENERALIZED RESPONSES. morality's a fickle thing, especially with that of a. fictional old man's & the lense in which thierry might view a particular character with their own individual traits will vary from character to character, of course. i can't just go " likes nice people & dislikes mean people " on this one,

HOWEVER, i hope this has given you a bit of an idea about his character regardless!
