Open letter to Nash...
Hi? So basically it's about the video, you know the one you put down after the hate it got (and deserved). You of all people should know that once it's on the internet, it's on the internet. Forever. Fake accounts of you will use that video, to keep up with the facade. We know you were only listing what you like in a girl, which is fair enough, do as you wish. But just think of this next time you decide to act like this again; A) Don't say "no hair anywhere" to then say "be yourself" - if a girl has arm hair, let it be. You're making out you want all girls to be hairless rodents to fit in with you. It could just be a formality you desire, but it's not like we go around saying "guys we don't want you to have nipples, cos you know, we have nipples." B) You're viewers aren't all 16 plus; the internet nowadays is open to anyone of any age and probably the majority of your viewers are under 16. They will just becoming to accept who they are and you, their idol, is telling them a list of things that you won't find attractive. Its all well it's your own opinion but girls are impressionable and will start to think all boys are thinking the same and completely alter themselves. It's not just girls who are impressionable, boys are too. When they see a cool new well known kid doing something, they will copy to fit in. C) I'm not really able to wrap my head around the fact you want a girl to be themselves, be different etc but you are saying no to all these things that set each girl apart. Like how can you sit there and say you want the girl you end up being with to be brunette and athletic and not have ANY body hair. But then say "but be yourself yo" NO IT DOESN'T ADD UP. You're a walking contradiction. All I'm saying, to all of you involved and to any person who thinks/acts the way you guys have it what you have done has had drastic consequences. Some girls who looked up to you have completely gone against you. Lost respect for you. Some have wanted to change, they've gone out and brought hair dye, shaved their arms, done a 180 on themselves. For you. Someone they may never have a chance with, just for the sheer hope they may. And it's wrong, it's so wrong that you've caused this. You and society - you're influential "power" over the internet and society are tainting girls into being someone they aren't. What if a girl who has severe bodily issues was watching? What if you guys where here only escape, you made her feel beautiful and you guys brought out that sparkle in her. What if she was watching that video, and now she hates herself because she didn't fit into that one category. You need to face up too your actions, don't be an ass and say it's a "matter of opinion" - it is, fair enough. But fess up. You fucked up. You fucked up big time. It's time to act like the man you portray yourself to be.
