Sun square Moon
Here’s an interpretation of a natal aspect from the book I wrote. There’s a link to it and my website at the bottom. This is what I wrote about the Square between the Sun and Moon.

Sun square Moon
This is one of the most problematic aspects in all of astrology. The basic root of the problem is your emotions are constantly conflicting with your spirit. It’s very difficult for you to use your available resources effectively and efficiently. You bitterly resent it when you have to make concessions and even more vengeful you must make enormous adjustments to get what you want. It seems you never have quite enough education to get where you desire, and you’re only half-hearted in acquiring the training to do so. Although you want the good life, sometimes you feel like that can never be achieved, thus causing depression and strife. Your negative response distorts the information you receive and makes it more difficult to learn from your experiences. The frustration you feel has inhibited your character development and is a problem in other areas including domestic matters, social relationships, emotional interests, and professional affairs. You must learn to bring your emotions and your will into line and subdue them with intellect and organization. You seem to think any response will satisfy your desire to achieve success and this isn’t so. Results directly reflect actions. Proper action equals proper results. You must learn self-control when dealing with others and how to compromise properly. What you gain from your habitual actions is usually inadequate in the teaching process. You frequently forget the lessons you have learned through previous experiences. There’s a natural chip on your shoulder that will cause issues within domestic relationships. You’re argumentative and defensive, probably because of your emotional insecurity. This can be reversed if you will change your fighting attitude and become more compromising. You have a serious misalignment between what you want and what you are willing to do to get it. The possibility of realizing your dreams is in direct proportions to the investment and concessions you make. This basically puts a natural chip on your shoulder which makes you think everything is a competition.
