Nicholas throws a huge birthday party, perhaps to get his mind off the divorce. The camera zooms out to inform me that Simone and Gustav got autonomously engaged. Simone is lucky her mother will never know about this-- Philippa thought Gustav was a loser!
It was also Andrew, Nathan, and Paul’s birthday (there were a LOT of birthdays today!!)...and they’re doing well.
They’re much easier to tell apart than Gideon’s were at that age,
but still really cute, if a bit whiny.
Nicholas got a promotion, which is good, since they’re really broke at the moment.
The family prepares a meal of grilled cheese in Nathan’s honor.
A fire started while the house was still crowded from Nicholas’ birthday. This time, we weren’t as fortunate. Rest in peace, Nathan Winter.
What has gotten into you, Annika? With all of your husband stealing and underwear parading, I could almost mistake you for your mother!
With Junior busy goosing her older sister, Lucille moves on to someone new. Thanks to the matchmaker, that someone is our very own Nathan Winter. You’d think she’d have her fill of grilled cheese sim antics at home, but it actually goes well for them.
All in all, considering the chaos the fire wrought, everyone recovered fairly quickly. Just in time for, well...
