Good Faith Interactions

No, this isn't a religious post. I wanna talk about good faith interactions in the sense of both parties coming to the table having left their swords at the door. Something that is unfortunately rare on this platform.

Im a straightforward kinda gal/dude. When I'm mad, I say I'm mad. When I'm expressing straight opinion i will say so. When I'm roasting someone, it will be tagged as such. I do my best to be civil and understanding at my default. I assume people are working in good faith until proven otherwise.

This isn't because I think TERFs should be debated or that I can cure every fuckboi on this site with calm debate. I am not qualified for that, and those are pretty much the definition of bad faith actors.

But, when I comment on or make a post on those topics where I seriously pick them apart and explain things it's not for the idiot who set the bait. It's for the kid I used to be who learned a lot from seeing these posts. Before this hellsite jumped into the nuclear cooling pond and the trolls had worn most people down, there were a lot of informational posts. Still plenty of toxic ooze, but there were less terfs so def more room to talk about things.

I don't blame people who have been worn down by the same questions or are being made to perform trauma for an audience. That is fucked up and they don't deserve that. But for the time being I'm pretty new blood and I feel like it's important for me to kinda take the torch and continue the good work so many have done (@vaspider, @wodneswynn, @thebibliosphere, and @teashoesandhair come to mind. Y'all really changed my life for the better) so they can rest easy and go onto new things.

So this is all kinda to say my goal here is to support people who have already put in the work, and be a resource to others they way they have been for me. If I overstep or do something wrong, tell me so I can fix it. If you want me to tag certain triggers that's something I can def work on. I know I got a lot to learn, and that means fucking up sometimes, but I hope that it all ends in me being a better person and strengthening my community.

I saw a post of books recs for each lads LI, and I tried to read one that was listed for Rafayel.

And now I'm obsessed with Deep Waters Series. I read 3 books this last week, and will start the 4th now.
