Twin Raven, Elken Blood & Melorna kingdom flags

Twin Raven flag - The Raven is the national bird, the Crown represents the royalty, and the shooting star representing magic and star metal as the kingdom is known for their mithral armor and magic users.

Elken Blood flag - The Peryton is a fierce juxtoposition. An Elk and an Eagle. Of nobility, leadership, military prowess. Combined into one singular predatory beast. An Aggressive flag for an aggressive nation. The blood drops, red thorns and black tears symbolizing a tumultuous history of war, betrayal and survival.

Melorna's flag - A phoenix symbolizes rebirth, spewing forth the flames that give fire to the forge and anvil. This is representative of the Volcano, Mt. Belsantai, that is the lifeblood of Melorna and it's rich smithing culture and trade. But also the death and rebirth that comes with living in the shadow of that volcano.

The Hollow flag: rectangular two-colour gray and white flag, stripes divided longways with two overlapping diamond-like symbols in the center, "justice penetrates shale"

The territory that Hollow occupies is quite large and borders the East Ocean, Passerine, Velt, and the Whistling Forest (a mysterious area of the southeast part of the continent occupied by thick forest). However, much of its territory is barren, made up of cracked shale and brittle earth. Hollow is a micronation; its people are clustered within a large crater of earth near the Passerine/Velt/Whistling Forest borders. Its people are called Hollow and are often described as fair and perceptive (if not just "dissecting"). Hollow has many official languages, including Velte, Genesese, and Dehic. Its people hail from many different nations; Hollow is an eclectic mix of travellers who sought home away from their native lands. The founders of Hollow, however, included native folk of the plains, who speak a language called Honua. Honua is very rarely spoken to anyone but other native Hollow people, but it has been described as a steady tonal language with a unique accent.

Hollow is a relatively new nation, compared to its neighbours, and its government is a democratic one. A team of Ombudsmen, who are volunteers that represent the public in political matters, work together with the Chancellor, who represents Hollow's founders. The team regularly meets to discuss strategies for keeping the Hollow people safe and prosperous. Public sessions with Hollow citizens are also regularly called to keep information and accountability flowing both ways.

Hollow's crater-dwelling city is made largely of metals scavenged from other countries and/or minerals the Hollow people have been able to find in the earth around them. The climate is desert-like: hot in the day and cold at night. It is somewhat warmer in the crater than around the barren plains, but only because the people can escape the winds that trail from the East Ocean.

The Passerinian flag: rectangular two-colour flag, divided into vertical thirds, sporting depictions of fish on the two leftmost thirds (Passerine's primary commodity historically), "peace and valor"

Passerine sits aside the East Ocean, bordered by Genesis in the north, Velt in the west, and Hollow in the south. Its people are called Passerinians and are often described as strong, both mentally and physically, as well as loyal (if not just "overly attached"). Passerine's official language is Velte, although many native Passerinians also speak Genesese. Farther out east, closer to the shores of the East Ocean, Passeri is also spoken; Passeri is often described as a soothing tongue, spoken low with little variation in intonation. Passeri is an old and slowly dying language of the first fishermen of the nation.

Passerine is made up of a collection of self-governed regions that all report to a representative of the Veltie crown. Bordering two massive military powers, Passerine's government has been usurped and traded between Velt and Genesis over the years. Although officially independent, Passerine is still overseen by Velt.

Passerine is largely made up of cool woods and wetlands. It can also be hilly in some parts, and is generally an uneven territory. Its climate changes seasonally but is consistently humid, rainy, and cool. Water is doubly abundant in rivers and small lakes.

Mor sits in the harbour shared by Velt, Genesis, and the Aridian Steppes (a western nation only mentioned but not visited by the cast of The Charlatan). Mor is located on the northwest corner of the continent. It is an underwater micronation, arguably the most advanced technologically in all the world. Mor's people are called Morians and are often described as keen, amiable, and mild-mannered (if not just "reserved"). Mor's official language is Mori, a signed language that was borne out of underwater communication signs. Its movements are fluid and often exaggerated or large, making for conversation that is often described as "animated" and enthusiastic. Few people outside of Mor know the Mori language, so Mor also lists Velte and Genesese (among other commonly spoken tongues) as official languages for hearing and speaking folk.

Mor has a constitutional government; its political leaders rely on and amend a legal framework that its founders developed. Most of the time, power falls to conservative leaders who are descendants of the founders and native citizens, but power is not always exclusive to them. Political leaders, before taking power, must be endorsed by Morian citizens and must complete a series of exams and trials based on the constitution's decreed values.

Since Mor is an underwater micronation, its climate is controlled and consistent year-long. The waters around Mor grow cool with changing seasons but do not freeze over. The structure that makes up Mor is a very thick synthetic glass and steel combination; the large compartments that house Mor's major centres are spherical, to reduce damage from waves, and the hallways that attach the spherical compartments are flexible, to allow for some movement.

The Genesese flag: triangular two-colour flag with a pale blue background and white pinecone detail, "alms of the land of the Impasse"

Genesis is the northernmost country of the continent, separated from the North Ocean by a dense mountain range called "The Impasse." Its people are called Genesese and are often described as cool and patriotic (if not just "stubborn"). Genesis' official language is Genesese, a harsh language that is often described as "strong" and throaty.

Genesis was a spiritual power for a long time, until the Seers (the spiritual leaders of Genesis) had their reputation corrupted by war. Nowadays, most of its people remain spiritual to an extent, but Seers populate a minority of peoples of the far north and are largely avoided by other Genesese. Genesis is lead in the modern day by a strong military force.

Apart from some sparse woods in the south, Genesis is largely snowy tundra. Flora in most of the country is spiny and knee-height. Occasionally, the southern parts of Genesis melt and experience milder climates throughout the year, but most of the rest of the country remains covered by snow and frost.
